The role

CGU Workers Compensation currently have a position available for a passionate and motivated person to join the team. You will process payment of providers, employers and worker accounts in required timeframes adhering to Work safe and IAG rules. This role will see you assist in the sorting, identification and distribution of incoming mail and to ensure internal & external procedures for the storage and movement of files is completed in a timely and orderly manner. In addition, you will:

  • Accurate and timely payment of invoices in line with set targets
  • Effective management of unpayable invoices through the use of the internal system
  • Attend customer queries in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Assist internal and external customers to understand payment processes
  • Performing claims administration duties such as returning invalid claims 
  • Responding to routine claims enquiries from customers, workers & employees in a timely manner

These are the skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • A strong customer service focus
  • Extensive experience in a business administration setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritise
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
